I’m Patty O’Hara, a Seattle-based WordPress developer with 20 years of experience building and managing websites and web-based applications. For the last 10 years I’ve been working independently, and over that time my client list has grown to be almost entirely nonprofits, environmental organizations, and community-focused businesses — and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
My background is in Human Centered Design and Engineering, which shapes how I approach every project. I care deeply about building sites that are intuitive for the people who visit them and just as easy for the people who manage them day to day. A website that your staff can actually use without calling for help is a website that does its job.
My studio is perched on the edge of a greenbelt, overlooking Carkeek Park — which probably explains why so many of my clients are out there trying to protect green spaces and build healthier communities. When I’m not coding, you’ll find me in the garden or out and about in WA looking for birds.
